Welcome back to my blog! It's hard to believe it's already week 5! Thank you for continuing to follow me on my journey! This past week I finally got a formulation for my lip balm that I am happy with! After tweaking the formulation, researching more ingredients, and experimenting, I created my overnight lip treatment.
With a spicy scent, this lip treatment is packed full of antioxidants to protect against free radicals, as well as being full of luscious hydrators to keep your lips soft. A couple ingredients I would like to highlight would be hyaluronic acid and sepilift (a protein complex). Hyaluronic acid can hold up to 1000 times its weight in water and raises moisture in the lips, it's one of my favorite and most intriguing ingredients! And sepilift dphp provides a triple firming action with collagen fiber contraction, protection of dermal supporting tissue, and anti-radical action all while plumping the lips.

My product is completely natural too which allows the ingredients to be absorbed and used super easily and efficiently in our bodies. I have been asking a bunch of people how they like the product and for the most part, they love the feel, especially in my last batch which is awesome to hear! I definitely like where I'm at now, but of course there is room to grow, so we are just going to make some tweaks by helping the pickup out of the container, so consumers can get more product easily and make it more like a lip butter instead of a lip balm, since it is a lip treatment.

I'm looking forward to finalizing my product in the next few weeks and now I'm onto creating a cleanser as well as still working on marketing projects for a dermatology products company!
